Attention all flat track racers – 2018 Harley Davidson Flat Track Nationals 

            Saturday August 18 2018 – Strathmore Alberta 

            Saturday & Sunday August 25-26 2018 Dinosaurs Downs Drumheller Alberta

Series details 


The National Rounds on August 18th and August 25th will count towards National Series Points for Open Expert, DTX Expert, Open Intermediate, DTX Intermediate.


All other classes will be split into an East and West Race Series.

The two national rounds and the August 25 th race in Alberta will count towards the ‘2018 Amateur Western National Championship’.

All of the other ‘National Series’ rounds will count towards the ‘2018 Amateur Eastern National Championship’.

With this being a new national series and recognizing the changes that have occurred in the schedule mid-season we have developed the following programs to assistance racers and teams.

Motorcycle Shipping

Flat Track Canada and their partners are offering Eastern Canadian and BC flat track people assistance traveling to Alberta.

The assistance program offers participants the ability to ship their motorcycle, small toolbox, tent and spare wheel at NO COST to the racer. All equipment must be carefully labeled. A maximum of 2 motorcycles will be available to ship per racer. Space is made available on a first come, first serve basis however Intermediates and Experts trump other registrations until Saturday July 31st


Shipping Details

OTSFF has graciously offered the use of one of their 53ft stacker trailers. These trailers are specially designed to haul motorcycles and equipment all over North America and will easily accommodate 60 motorcycles.

Drop off and Pick up point will be at OTSFF headquarters in Brampton Ontario. 128 Hedgedale Road L6T 5L2.

Drop off date will be Saturday August 11th from 10am to 9pm.

Pick up date will be Thursday August 30th from 2pm to 9pm & Friday August 31st 9am to 5pm.

We have a locked in number of flights reserved through Flair Airlines. They will be flying on these specific days:

Deals may be cheaper but they can fluctuate in price this gives us a locked in price for FTC. If you want this price register and pay with us as we have put the deposit down on a group booking.

We will be posting on the facebook page any other deals on hotels, car rentals, motorcycle rentals, and visiting attractions such as and including the world famous Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum!

Drive and Fly

For those who wish to drive out and fly home for the week between events Flat Track Canada is offering an opportunity to park their rig in Calgary. There is space at Cycle Works Calgary (limited space) or a secure yard close to the Calgary Airport.

Race bike Maintenance


  • Strathmore Ag Society has a garage with water supply at their location. Racers are welcome to maintain their equipment on August 19th before loading up for Drumheller.
  • Friday August 24ththe bikes will be unloaded and placed in the shop area at Drumheller Speedway.
  • A list of our partner part suppliers will be made available and have a parts program for any racers who are in need of replacement parts for the following week.
