Round Five Brings FTC Back to Clay at Cornwall Speedway

Cornwall Motor Speedway will host round five of the Flat Track Canada series presented by Parts Canada on Saturday August 3rd.. While the Cornwall track is new to the series, fans can expect handlebar to handlebar action as riders in all classes fight for their share of the prize money and championship series points that are available. With the close proximity to Quebec, an influx of speedsters from that province are expected to attend as well as the regular riders from the national series circuit.

After four rounds, the question in the Open Expert class is can anyone stop the juggernaut by the name of Dustin Brown. After an emotional victory last week in Flamboro, Brown has won three of the first four rounds and has his eye set on repeating as national champion. Chris Evans looked very impressive last weekend and both he and Tyler Seguin are very comfortable on the clay surface. Could round five in Cornwall be the start of something special for one of those two? Be there on Saturday to find out as all of the Experts try to knock Brown and his number one plate off his pedestal.

With a full slate of classes scheduled, Saturday will see practice begin at 3:00, with heat races at 5:00 followed by main events at 7:00. Grandstands will open at 2:30. Admission for the event is just $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for children. Fans can also purchase a pit pass for $25.
